Sprint cant even send me a properly working phone!
(New phone - #1)
In Dec 2009 I renewed a new two year contract with Sprint to obtain two new phones (a pair of LG Rumor Twos) - I just want to focus on my personal phone issues in this letter- the second phone and contract issues are another long story. Everything was working well until about six months in - the LG phone would have serious ...

The big question is how does anyone even know whether this really even happened? Anyone can post some supposed problem they had with a wireless company under a anonymous username. Too many tools out there to allow this kind of garbage to be posted.
This is one reason I have not posted here in a while.
I would absolutely love to have sprint try resolving my issue with a different phone - all I have been told is to return my phone to avoid an ETF and it was implied that I use another carrier... *sigh*

Yes, the insurance company will charge you a deductible and you'll have to pay for it unless it's a manufactuer's defect. (Egads, my spelling is atrocious today. /sob) I'd have sent it into LG myself, yeah, I'd be out a phone, but that's the next logical step if the phone was truly defective and not damaged by the user themselves. And it sounds like you've received comperable replacements as well; something's either power surging your phone, you're an unlucky person or there's more than what you're telling.
I'd say for someone who's selling ...

Sometimes reading through replies like the replies to your post I think to myself: these guys wouldn't last a day in customer service. Ironically some of them probably do work in customer service, but I can tell you that in my experience you don't get very far by pretending a customer's issue doesn't exist.
I don't work for sprint, I work for another carrier but still think I can shine a little light on some of your questions.
1) That is entirely up to you. Most carriers will try to work with you in any situation that comes up with your service, if you feel that they're not working hard enough or that the resolutions are too bound up by red tape, may...
