How exactly do the charges work if you surf the internet on your phone..? I currently changed my plan a week ago and received vision free for the first two months, but I was curious on if that mean't I had unlimited web surfing, or that just was for downloads on sprint's website... If its unlimited web surfing can I go to google and stuff like that and search some mobile sites without getting charged alot?

I also heard that it may take away from your day time minutes?

Sorry if this has been answered before, I have been wondering this question for along while as I have had sprint for a good year or so.. But always wondered how vision actually works with surfing the internet, I couldn't really find much help at the sprint help website e...

I you are recieving vision free for two months, depending on package, you would get in the Vision Picture Package: Unlimited net sufing, 100 text, and 5 dollar download credit or if you got the Vision premium package: unlimited net, 100 text, and 10 dollar download credit.

Without vision you would be billed per kilobyte when you use the net. The rate is 0.01 per kb. Vision usage doesn't effect you minutes.

NOTE: you do not get unlimited downloads with the two month promotion. you just get the download credit depending on which package you have. Also please remember to cancel the svc if you don't want it after the trial period. If you don't call to cancel, sprint will assume you want to keep it and be charged for it.

So let me make sure I get this right - no matter which vision pack I have, I still can surf the internet for free/unlimited, and the credit will just be credited if I download things from the sprintpcs vision webpage correct?

The 'downloads' arent from like images loading or anything correct?

So in reality I was on the right track as I mentioned above, with being able to surf the internet without burning up minutes, or getting charged for it WHILE im on the vision correct?

if you download ringers or anything like that you will get a credit back for it on your bill depending on the pack, it could be 5 or 10 dollars.

Yes you were correct that you can surf the net without burning your minutes.

Just curious whta type of phone you have?

Yes I know its not super for surfing the internet, but at work there isn't much to do - so just messing around on the net over the phone, never knew it didn't touch your minutes. I swore I heard someone mention that it uses your minutes, but I had always wondered about the Vision service..

I use a 740 right now at work to surf the web when bored and text.

The older version of the net called wireless web use to pull from your minutes because the old system was billed per minutes usage instead of per data usage with vision.
