Hello!

Can anyone tell me if all Sanyo 8200 phones have awful earpiece volume or is it just mine?

If I turn phone on past level 1 the earpiece sounds awful...Would much appreciate feedback so I'll know if it's just Sanyo's 8200 series phones or if I have a piece of s*#t! 🙂

Thanks & Have A Great Day...

I have a Sanyo 8200 and am not experiencing the problem that you are! It is possible your phone is defective. I would take it into the Sprint Store to check. 🙂

I was shopping around in a Sprint Store today and noticed somewhat poor sound at the higher volume levels too.

I found out that all Sanyo phones have poor earpiece sounds. I now have decided to stay with moto or samsung. Thing is, Sprint has no good phone's on the market right now & if they continue to carry Sanyo as a major brand, I'm switching service.

Thankss for replying...

Actually, my 7400 has perfect sound. Both externally and in the earpiece. I switched from the 8200 to the 7400 and I've never been more satisfied. Sanyo is actually the best manufacturer in the industry. No phone can be put through what a Sanyo can.

I agree. I've owned the Sanyo 4500 (the old 2g device), 4900, 8200, and now the 5600, and have never had any problems with the earpiece. The only problem I've had is that I am very hard hard on phones, and even though Sanyo's are very sturdy, I still find a way to break them! 🤭 Thank God for insurance! 🙂
