Leave Cingular and go to Sprint?

OK so i have a question and I would appreciate an honest response. I have Cingular right now and the coverage at my house is less than desireable. Ive never gone over my 450 minutes and i have a ton of rollover. However, my brother has offered to add me onto his sprint plan for 25.00 a month and we would share the minutes, etc. Is that a good idea? Does anyone have any complaints about Sprint? What about there phones? Id like a smaller phone with a camera. Any suggestions or comments to help me? Thanks!

i have sprint and i love it, but that is just me in the area i live in my service is fine never had any complaints with my phone or anything. what i would recommend is try it out for 14 days(30 if you live in california) dont like it then cancel.

as far as the phone the samsung 740 is small and has a camera it might suit you well.

hope this helps atleast a little!

Ive been looking at that phone, I might do it. I might borrow my bros sprint phone and see how well it works in my house, which is my problem with cingular.

That's actually what I was going to recommend. Just have him use his phone in your house for a while. If it doesn't work any better in your house, there'd be no point in switching carriers.

I would recomend sprint any day. I have been with them for 5 plus years and I am in a coverage challenged area and I still love it. They offer alot plan wise so even if something crazy happened with your brother you could always switch to the fair and flex plan which I think is better because you don't pay for the minutes use until you use them. The plans start out at only $35 and in your area you may be eligable for the free and clear america so it wouldn't matter if you were on a fringe area because you can use up to half your minutes each month as roaming and not pay anything extra for it but you may want to check with your local sprint store to make sure they offer it in you area.

I was thinking - if the issue is just at your house - perhaps considering a repeater would be helpful.
