"By early 2006, the company plans to roll the service out in 60 major markets encompassing 150 million people, Sprint said. Prices will start at $40 a month, not including wireless PC cards. The service will enable users to download files and emails at average speeds of 400 to 700 kilobits per second, with peak rates of up to 2 megabits, Sprint said. Customers would be able to access the Internet at high speeds via computers or with special wireless phones that Sprint plans to introduce in the fourth quarter."
