When is Softbank going to start making a difference with Sprint?

The CEO of Softbank said he wants to get Sprints LTE network on par with Verizon's. I saw that headline on Engadget by the way. Sooo,...is Softbank a company of action, or words? There shouldn't be any more hurdles or obstacles in the way of Softbank doing whatever they want with Sprint.

If I were the CEO, I'd forget about matching Verizon's LTE network and focus instead on completing the Network Vision program. That phase must be completed before any serious consideration can be given to splitting anyone else's arrow down the middle. In fact, my goal would be to light fires under my corporate managers to get that rolled out ASAP.

Yes, although I read somewhere that aspect of the rollout has been delayed a bit.

NW is about 50% done. bear in mind though when they say a city now is lit up on LTE, they launch before that city is 100% done. My city has it and we are at 60% completion. My area works like a charm on NW but we are smaller tri city area of about 180K people

And not for the better.

Definitely as of 12/5 any person that can authenticate an account can have it cancelled.

If that person has the security information then they can pretty much do anything to the account and leave the account holder the debt. Like, say upgrading all lines on the account but the account holders, then cancelling the lines after putting the old devices back on there. The account holder gets the 36.00 per line upgrade fee and the ETF for the line(s). And policy says that's too bad for the account holder.

Good to know Sprint cares about the security of a customer's account. Aren't you glad for the extra security to prevent fraud...

I suppose there is no responsibility on the account holder to protect the security of the account 🙄
