Got a question for da Verison reps
He is asking us why our price plans are not comparable to "strait talk" which I can only assume is some sister company to "Straight Talk".
The best reason I can offer you is because Verizon offers a plethora of extra features and services as well as phones that don't look and operate like you got them from a cereal box.

No strait talk aint a sister its a cell phone company. they have good prices and my baby cousin said she like them real good. but i go to Verison and they say i cant get the iphone for free and i got to pay $200 bucks for it then i got to pay $80 evry mo. but i live in section 8 not evrybody can aford all that so they need to make some better prices or they not gettin my bizness

If you can't manage to get off Section 8, then you've got no business owning a smartphone, anyway.
Come up with some way to pay your own rent and put your own bread on your table first (at least).
Then (maybe) consider buying a fancy cell phone.

I'm a rather poor white boy actually. It will be 11 years at the University next spring when I finally get my degree. I've done it all while being the sole wage earner in my home, taking out a schedule mortgage, raising a disabled child and never taking a penny of the SSI my son qualifies for.
Oh, and my parents haven't given me a nickel to pay for school...

Verizon is not interested in low-paying customers. They don't want them. It's not their target market.
They want customers who are willing to pay the extra $20 a month to get the added features they've built up that the cheap-o-phone services can't offer.

First of, i aint no low paying and i can pay a lot like 30 or 40 bucks a month. but then they try to tell me i got to haves a enternet pack for the online and i tole them i dont need it but they say i dont have a choice!!! This america, we suppose to have choices!!!
