I sure am glad I have the un-plan now. I am sure T-Mobile will do away with that. It is a great deal for those of us that use our cell for business at only $60.00 per month.

tmobile will do away with it and also give you the option of changing or 30 day notice to the door. They will not keep it or allow you to keep it either. My 2 cents!

In the past T-Mobile has grandfathered in all the rate plans when they aquired a regional carrier, I am pretty sure they will do the same here.

those rate plans did not cost them allot of money. As one poster that works with suncom allot use over 8000 min a month on the unplan. An unlimited plan depending on how many are on it will cost them too much. Part of the reason suncom is losing money and fast. And it didn't help them having the plan with only 1 mill subs!

Yes but T-Mobile has a large enough customer base that having a small handfull of customers that are costing them money is not as big a deal as it is for SunCom. Some of the companies that T-Mobile has aquired over the years did have unlimited plans, and there are people still on those plans.

The thing is that the customers on the UnPlan will still be subject to the same MOU terms... just like SunCom cancelled service for a number of customers that were using 10000+ minutes a month... T-Mobile has bascally the same policy.

SunCom has been losing money for a large number of reasons, I worked for them for a couple years and the pricing of their rate plans was only a small part of the problem in my opinion. Porting from AWS was a total ni...

If they do away with it I would say they will lose most of the current SunCom customers. I'm sure they may not care but that will happen.

Well for me I will go to Sprint because they have the free incoming plan. I do about 1000 outgoing and 1500 to 2000 minutes a month incoming. I am hopeful that T-Mobile will keep those of us that use under 4000 min a month on the unplan. I also have blackberry service and unlimited text messaging. My avg bill for the entire family is $205.00 per month. If they choose to ask us to switch plans or hit the door I will hit the door.
