Is it a good idea to try to lock into an unlimited plan with them right now since tmobile has bought them?

but you may have problem if you want to add option in the future, and I found unlimited GPRS/EDGE on Suncom is more expensive than T-mobile, while 3G is on the way, either 1900 or AWS
