Suncom and Wifi
I just bought the Blackberry Pearl 8120 with Wifi, however I can connect to my wifi connection at home with it but cannot use the wifi connection. I called Suncom tech support and they don't even support wifi. I just love how everyone is making a big deal about Suncom releasing a wifi phone when they don't even support wifi. If anyone has been able to use their wifi connection, please let me know! I just can't get it to work at all.

Go to the T-mobile forum and ask. They bought suncom and have all the same devices. You might not get an answer here, its a ghost town. 👀

Well, see I know for sure that t-mobile supports it. So I guess it's only a matter of time before Suncom eventually does.

see if there is a way to turn phones radio off and turn wifi on. then you will need to enter your wifi info- security or access code. verizon has some phones/smartphones with wifi, but you have to turn phone radio off to use the wifi,if not it only connects to there data system and charges for it. but as for you using the wifi, you most likely just need to get the right access info for your home wifi.

WiFi is a technology that is built into the phone, like Bluetooth. If it's WiFi enabled, you should be able to enable the data. I'd recommend calling the manufacture for the real answer. My tech uses his WiFi on his old Mogul, and the phone is inactive.
