Future Plans with AT&T's Name
SBC has been in talks with the government since Jan 31st getting AT&T. Even longer just talking with AT&T. Therefore, I find it difficulat to beleive that after spending more money than any other company in the world on advertising (yes, even budweiser), Cingular would be reverted back to AT&T immediately.
I agree with many when I say that it will happen. But not now. SBC undoubted has its eye on BellSouth. Just look at all the post-1984 AT&T entities its gobbled up. Basically, SBC long distance, home phone, cable, and internet will all be renamed at&t. It shows unity and uses a name everyone knows.

I saw an interesting video about ATT I think it was on Altavista.
They were saying something about ATT going to use a rebrand of Sprint for their wireless division...that would cause a lot of confusiuon..right???

That is old news that fell through when SBC purchased AT&T Corp. The previous idea was for AT&T Corp. to run an MVNO on Sprint's network and call it AT&T Wireless.
Now SBC (at&t inc.) is simply rebranding Cingular as at&t as well.
