I am SO ticked off at AT&T and their greediness. I have a BlackJack II, SWEET phone, other than the BS proprietary connectors you have to have...I had a MediaMax 1500 bundle, which is unlimited data, and 1500 messages per month for $30. It has been a great plan...I use the internet to look up miscellaneous stuff, the GPS for directions via google, text when I want to and not worry about a thing....WELL, AT&T found out that I have a BlackJack II and decided that since it is a smart phone they need to charge me more. They told me that my phone was "incompatible" with the MediaMax bundle....WTF is incompatible about it??? I have been using it for 2 months now...works great...NOTHING is incompatible with it except for the fact ...

I have not switched my daughters cricket phone the the new Att&T service yet. And I am having a difficult time finding the old crickets phone #. I need to speak to the old cricket phone company about changing a payment method and a bridge pay. Does anyone know how to reach the old cricket company?

I was just wondering if there was any old Blue reps, either GSM or TDMA that even have watched this fourum. I have been reading threw some of the posts again, i worked the GSM account for consumer a long while, then, after the lockdown of Seibel, i worked the Converted Accounts side for StarTek a long while. I'm very frustrated with AT&T's Business department which doesn't seem to care about their customer. I have a business account with 13 lines and have more I want to move over to it. My problem? We had a sales person that wasn't very good and it seems they were fired. My e-mails are ignored and their mailbox is full which lead me to the above conclusion. Now what do I do? I've called Business Care numerous times asking if I can please have a new sales person assigned to me - they say yes, process my new order.. and I get no contact information for anybody.

What the hell is this? I have a verizon account as well which has an excellent rep that contacts me (bugging me sometimes) to add new customers all the time. Unfortunately, AT&T ...

The New AT&T is sometimes mentioned as "AT&T wireless" For example, I just bought a go phone to replace my contract phone, and the SIM that came with it said "If you are currently an AT&T wireless customer, do not use this SIM card"

I know the official name is AT&T Mobility, but unofficially it's being called AT&T wireless...go figure.

Wow, what a relief - not that much will change with AT&T replacing Cingular in name only, but at least I'll being to deal with businesses without hearing "Y'know, I wish you guys had stayed AT&T, they were so much better..."

Alas, now we'll have to go through that whole rebranding crap again.

And cingular will be the defunct carrier.

I'm going to get a phone for my GF on my phone plan (GSM). She doesn't really care about features, but would like to be able to get custom faceplates/lights/etc. Clamshell, bar, etc, doesn't really matter (the plus side of a purse). Any thoughts on a good phone?

SBC has been in talks with the government since Jan 31st getting AT&T. Even longer just talking with AT&T. Therefore, I find it difficulat to beleive that after spending more money than any other company in the world on advertising (yes, even budweiser), Cingular would be reverted back to AT&T immediately.

I agree with many when I say that it will happen. But not now. SBC undoubted has its eye on BellSouth. Just look at all the post-1984 AT&T entities its gobbled up. Basically, SBC long distance, home phone, cable, and internet will all be renamed at&t. It shows unity and uses a name everyone knows.

What this means for cingular (or SBC) is that they can unify the image of all services and bring home customers to the cell phones, or mor...

I'm a legacy Blue ATTWS subscriber that has a plan that is much better than anything Cingular/New ATT is offering. I've currently got a GSM device and ATTWS Sim. I'd like to upgrade my device, preferably to something would allow email/web surfing etc. I've been told by Blue customer service that a phone that was sold by them would work if I put my SIM in, but I'm curious about Cingular phones and also about unlocked phones. Anyone know what my options are??

I have Cingular, my dad has ATT. I got the new razor from Cingular for him. He put his ATT chip in it an it worked perfectly. I put my Cingular chip in his ATT Motorola V505 and it said "Enter Subsidy Password:". I am pretty sure that password it to unlock the phone and Customer Care won't help me, obviously. So do any of you guys out there know the password. Thank you for your time.

In sept06 im going to have to give my at&t gophone. cuz cingular is shuting the at&t gophone service. i have cingular. now, i dont know where to go. ☹️ at&t why did you have to leave us 😢

The My-Five feature which is to be launched at a later date this year seems kinda redundant now that we have unlimited mobile to mobile minutes. The My-Five feature is a feature that allows unlimited calling to five other AT&T wireless numbers each billing cycle, and the numbers can be changed each month via online customer service. But with unlimited mobile to mobile minutes as a new promotion My-Five seems pointless. Does anyone else agree?

I know it's not "new" news, but has anyone heard about if there is going to be a name change, and if so, when it is going to happen. I was thinking about switching over to Cingular soon, but if they are going to change back to at&t, I would just wait. I know it sounds stupid...same service an all. I'm just the type of person that has to have the "most recent".
