Best phone ever

What would you say was the best phone cingular has ever carried?

My pick would have to be the 6010 and 3395. Both will take a lickin and keep on ticken.Reception is the key. The both have voice dialing.( a feature not always present on even some high end phones)
if not for the lack of features on these phones I would say that they were arguably the best phones ever made for any carrier. Now I never owned one, but I had tons of friends who swear by these phones and would not give them up until the phone just quit. The same thing goes for almost all customers I've seen with these phones(alot have even upgraded to the same phone after 3-4 years of having the same phone). In fact the only complaint ever on these phones was "I wish it was sm...

I've had it for a year.

Icyhot, however, has talked me into purchasing the w810i.

Can't wait for that.

I've had my 6682 a year but havent used it in the last 3 months since I've had my w810. I'm gonna have to add something here. The 6620 was a better phone (except for the camera) than the 6682. The 6620 was the multitasking king and far more stable than the 6682. The 6682 is definitely better looking than the 6620, but as for being a more stable phone, the 6620 would eat the 6682 for lunch.

The 6620 was fantastic, in my eyes. However, I never had the Cingular version, I had a former unlocked AT&T version. I got it about three months before the 6682 came out, so I guess I never truly got to appreciate it while caught in the hype for the 6682.

I do know that I had a 6230 at the same time as the 6620, and given how comparable the features were, I found myself using the 6230 a lot more.

I can't really say they were comparable. One was Symbian, while the 6230 was S40. Huge difference there.

Meh, 3300 was nice.

BUT NO BACKLIT KEYS!!!!

So screw that!

In that regard, the 6820 edges out the 3300.

Dude, you know as well as I do, that thing was not easy to type on in the dark.

You had an idea, but there was always that insecurity.

i have to stick with nokia as well, but i say the 6200 because the RF in that phone was so amazing! some of the engineers still carry that phone to test the network. not a lot of features, but it worked everywhere! no dropped calls and great battery life!

It's entirely too easy for everyone to pick a Nokia.

I've owned every Nokia mentioned in here, but I have to go with the 6682 because of the feature set.

Although the size/feature set of the 6230 was remarkable. I love that phone dearly.

The 6200 is great too.

All Nokia's excel greatly in all regards so I have a firm feeling that Nokia's will keep popping up on this list.

I should make a new topic, best NON NOKIA phone ever.

LOL 😈

Well...

For TDMA I say the Nokia 3560. I loved that phone so much and I wish I didn't have to switch to GSM but I did. (I still have my 3560 and I use it as an alarm clock now, and of course I play the games.

For GSM: the Nokia 6010. It is so reliable and great quality.

Did everyone forget about the Nokia 6160? the only reason i ever gave that phone up was because i went swimming with it and couldn't find a replacement at the time........ that phone was the sh()t........ never had a single problem with it and (in houston) had the best reception of anything i have owned since... i wish i could replicate that phone.

Nokia 6230 was an incredible little phone, but let me say this...

The cu500 has all the potential of being the best phone we have if it wasn't for two HUGE reasons that could be easily fixed.

A. Battery life
B. Quicker switch from 3g to EDGE

If those problems didn't persist this phone would be untouched here or any other network...

You have to remember that the MP3 player is part to blame for low battery performance. And any area the phone is used in that is not 3G is going to wear on the battery as well since it was not totally designed to opperate in non-3G areas. Most 3G phones have battery life issues anyways because of features. I do have to say that the MOBITV on that Phone while in 3G is absolutley untouchabley sick. It's almost as clear and responsive as my HD TV at home. For Flip-Phones to ever prevail on battery life is also a rarety. I think that if you are the type of person who charges their phone every night on the home charger you should never have a problem.
