Sidekick 2008 or LX
Right now I have the SDK 3 and I love it, but I am not thinking about upgrading to either LX or the 2008. I need help. What do you think of the LX or the 2008 and if you were to do an upgrade which one would you choose?

To be honest with you, the LX is end of life, so you'd be better off to go with the 08. You'll be able to get the same function out of the 08, with the exception that it is a little smaller than the LX or even the SK3. Pull up a comparison on www.t-mobile.com and check 'em out...pretty much identical for function and features.

Sidekick is following the Apple model
Come out with features (in this case 3G) from a few years back, and make it seem like the newest stuff on the block.
It's a great way to make money, not doing anything innovative.

Do you know which of the phones has the best reception?
Eventually, I may get internet, just for now I don't care for it. Since I'm gonna have this phone for the next 2 years at least, I want to leave this option open but it's not the most important thing for me.

The Memoir is a very nice phone. I recommend it for anyone who takes a lot of pictures, because they are very very good with the Memoir. And hands down it records the best video on any device. Its all touch screen, and is much more responsive than the Behold. When it comes to typing on a touchscreen, this is entirely personal preference. I would try it out to see if you like it before you buy it. I personally do a lot of messaging and prefer a physical keyboard. However, I do have camera envy on my G1 towards the Memoir, because the G1 has a very, VERY basic camera, despite its 3 MP rating.
As far as reception goes, they are all good. I have had very good reception with my G1. The Blackberry Curve especially gets great reception, and a lot of this has to do with its UMA capabilities. I love UMA! At my parents house NO ONE gets signal, but using UMA on my Curve BAM full signal! Its great!
