NTP's original suit was "clear" which is why you think Sprint will prevail.
Clear has nothing to do with it.

Burn It
This is something that really burns me up and I need to comment on. Whenever someone on this forum – or others – mentions that they are doing something like streaming Slingbox video or other such media, someone makes the comment about getting banned from Verizon’s service.
This kills me. We are paying for an “Unlimited Data Plan” and we are paying dearly for it at about $40 a month. This is more than most of are paying for our hard lined high speed data access. OK. So it is wireless. Whoop-de-frekin-do. We are still paying for it and Verizon is still offering “Unlimited Data” for this price.
I say there is no reason for us to operate our lives in fear that Verizon is going to cut off of our service because we are somehow using too much of our “Unlimited” plan.
I say use it up my brothers and sisters! I sometimes leave a streaming signal – such as a radio broadcast – streaming away on my phone even when I am not necessarily listening to it; just so that I can.
Alright, so maybe Verizon can draw the line at people are bypassing their agreement by modding their phone to tether it to their computer when Verizon does not explicitly allow that. But even then, should we just lie down and allow them to charge us an extra $15 a month – not yet even offered for the Q by the way – just for the pleasure of using the “Unlimited” data plan that we are already paying for.
What I would like to suggest is this. Stream your radio shows. Stream your Slingbox. Dare I say – tether it to your computer.
Paying $40 a month to just receive 10MB – plus or minus – of email a month is a rip off. We need to all stream until our hearts content. If we all start to do this, then they can no indiscriminately disconnect people because they deem that someone is taking too much of their “Unlimited” pie.
We must rise up. We will prevail.
Thank you and goodnight.

I do, and I def appretiate the advatages of international GSM roaming since I've been roaming since Oct.
Re: Which Technology will prevail
I think that in the US there will always be CDMA and GSM. I've heard some people say that eventually, these two will evolve into one standard technology, but I don't see this happening. I say this because GSM has a lot more market share than CDMA and even though CDMA is (for some reason mostly used in the Americas -which is not where the manufactures develop it-) doing pretty well with the 3G path it chose.

Isn't WiMax only a figurative thing? I thought that it didn't turn out to be what it was expected? Am I out of the loop? :paranoid:
