Just out of curiosity, does anyone know if the Samsung Delve runs its TouchWiz UI under BREW since Alltel doesn't use Java? I'm curious because I was wondering if you could install 3rd party apps on the Delve.

Help! My friend gave me his old samsung SCH-540. I want to put my chip from my old phone in it, but dont see where that is possible. What's going on with it?

I have a Blackjack ii and have downloaded the hack for the gps. have also shortcut to the gpstest. it works GREAT with WLS and even has turn by turn at no charge!!! Only drawback is the initial startup when GPS has been off is slow. Takes about 10 min to find sat. signal. Not a real big deal but I am typical in that I want what I want yesterday, not 10 min from now. haha. My question is does it hurt the GPS receiver in my phone to constantly leave GPSTest running? When I do this, of course WLS has immeadiate signal anytime I go to it. I have not noticed any problems as of yet and have had the test running non-stop for about 24 hours. Just curious about the future. any help???
Also, WLS has the com4 port which I can use, or the intermmediate...

I just received my 2 gb mem. and the usb cable with the disk. I cant seem to get it to properly work. Everytime I go to the Samsung website..they have nothing to download for this phone..How am i supposed to get software so i can transfer stuff using the usb cord..somebody pleae help. Thank you. 😎

Does my Blackjack II have builtin GPS? I tried using WIndows lIve Search GPS function and it cannot find my position. Any ideas? Thanks

I just purchased an i760 and have not been able to complete a sync. The sync seems to get bogged down with contacts. My contacts are in Outlook 2003. I have several thousand contacts. Is there a max number of contacts or bytes I can sync? If so, is it possible to select which contacts I want to sync onto my phone?

At least in Chile this model, (Carried by CLARO Chile) its the worst phone I've ever had, bad signal, even with an amplifier, triple communication I mean, the one I call, myself and I, a [CENSORED] echo!, to talk you need to learn Yoga, and it's not fault from the carrier, same problem with same model on ENTEL (Chile).

if you want a camera, a calculator, an agenda, buy it separately.

I have had it for a week now and am really aggravated with it. I can't lock the side volume button like I could with my Motorolla. An what is with this celltop. Do I have to pay for that if I accidently hit it ?

Hey all, hoping someone can help out. I have a u740. I have some MIDI files that I would like to get into the phone as ringtones. I cant seem to get them onto the phone by either micro sd card or my email from my computer. The phone isnt reading any of the files on the card and when sending thru email the phone is auto deleting the attachment.

Am I the only one that is completely perturbed by fact that Verizon has the same firmware on ALL their phones - whereby killing the entire idea of CHOOSING a phone and it's "unique" functions? Now it's all about looks and nothing else.

I would switch service, but just discovered this after renewing my contract. The last resort would be to get a new battery for my old Verizon phone which was supposedly lower tech compared to this snazzy Samsung, but actually waaayyyy better because it doesn't have the crappy Verizon firmware on all the phones now. It's really killing the experience.

I used to be able to text a message w/ photo to email addresses. Can't even do that now.

When I miss multiple calls from the same phone number, the missed call list will show each call separately rather than showing how many calls from the same phone number. Is there a way to set this up to only list the number once with how many times this number called.

Ive googled the hell out of it but only can see so much on my resticted internet here ... SO ... does anyone know what the user interface on this bad boy will be like ?!?! I'm going to guess that this will be WM 6.1 ??? Will all the third party apps that the Touch support play nice with this new device ??? Any more info on this phone would greatly be appreciated.
