Had a Samsung a530 on Verizon service for less than 6 months. One day, open the hinged lid and it comes off in my hand, screen goes blank, a small piece of plastic hangs on one side of the hinge.

Figure one year warranty, no problem... 🤣 What a joke. Under "What is not covered" I see "(c) any plastic surfaces or other externally exposed parts that are scratched or damaged due to normal use".

I figure this is for extreme cases and a reasonable customer service agent would want to keep an otherwise satisfied customer. Well Bubba and Buck (his supervisor) didn't see it that way. Hi, I was wondering if any of you guys know how to change the ring setting for the scheduler/planner on the Samsung a-670. I know I can change the TYPE of ring tone but I don't know how to set the volume of the scheduler alert or how many times it rings.

I would like to make it a lot softer but I don't know where to change the volume setting.

I went to Best Buy tongiht to see if they had the 8920 to play with and they didn't have it, but they said they would have it in 1 week along with the new Samsung MM700/ A700. The rep then showed me the spec sheets on the new Samsung phone.

1.03 megapixel camera, capable of 1024 X 768
It did list a camcorder function.
Not sure about the flash, due to the fact the camera lens can be manually positioned.

I really like the p107 that I saw at the Cingular store. The rotating camera is pretty neat, but mainly, the phone is very easy to hold & dial in one hand. In fact, most of the Samsung phones seem easy to thumb-dial. I think it's partly the scoop design of the keypad.

Anyway, I'd really like to replace my SE-t616. It's a source of constant frustration in sunlight. Questions:

1. How are the Samsung displays in sunlight?
2. Anyone heard rumor of new Samsung with Bluetooth?

Hi, Im from NY, USA, and my contract for tmobile is ending soon so I want to renew it but im having difficulty selecting the right phone. I want the best phone possible which has a good mp3 player, loud speakers, speakerphone, a good video camera, a good color screen, and possible blue tooth also. Im sorry for asking for too much!
So can you all please post some phones you think I should get according to my selection description.. thanx... Post phones that are with the tmobile carrier, and also phones that are not with tmobile, cuz I can possibly unlock the phone to work with my tmobile service....

Does anyone else have problems getting indoor reception on the e715?

My old Nokia 8265 w/ AT&T used to get great indoors at work and at home. My new e715 has really spotty indoor reception.

I don't know if the problem is T-Mobile service or the internal antenna design (however, my Nokia had an interanl antenna also and no problems).

I'm asking because I am experiencing a known issue from the Manufacturer with my current X-105 phone....and this is very much a manufacturer defect more than anything else.

I go into the menus on this phone to set the alam on this phone to get up in the morning and it just so happens that this phone has a multitude of selections to work with....so I figured awesome, let me pick the Morning Call option. Next I am prompted to set the time for the alarm to ring...I set it for 6:15 and pressed ok. Next screen gives options of 1 for AM and 2 for PM....I selected 1 to proceed. The final option to select is the days of the week to select for this alarm to ring in the morning. Two choices are provided: 1) Monday to Friday; and 2) Monday to Saturd...

Cons:
Battery Life stinks!!!!!
Camcorder is HORRIBLE!!!!!!!! Its basically a slide show with sound.
Photos are horrible like every other phone.

I don't want songs, I don't want donkey sounds, I don't want fire engines --- I just want it to sound like, oh, I don't know -- a TELEPHONE????

Can anyone please help me? I've just bought a samsung t100 at the same time as my Dad We've both got data cables as well and want to be able to download ringtones and logos and, basically, anything else that we can.

Neither of us have any software with our phones though. Do we need any cos I can't get anything to happen when I plug it into the computer and if we do, is there anywhere we can download it from for free?

Please can someone help as we were both excited when we got them and are more annoyed than anything now.
