Hello,

Can someone give me a basic understanding of the difference between these 2 devices? I am upgrading to a smartphone for the 1st time and am trying to make the best decision thus I do not want a device that is going to be obsolete the minute it hits the market and for some reason I feel the Samsung Exhibit is a lower end consumer level device.

Can anyone tell me what is the difference between the types of processors put into the AT&T and TMobile version of the Galaxy S II?

I have read the Exynos (sp?) in the AT&T version is supposed to be better but no understanding as to why. Have had some issues with TMobile in the past couple of months and since I am looking at a new device wondering if this is also the time to switch carriers.

Can someone tell me the difference between these two lines for the Galaxy series? Is the 'W' line the lower end?

So, uhhh... where's the Galaxy SII info page, or any acknowledgement of its existence? Or do Phonescoop contents still exclusively address US market-only products? 😛

I have one in my hand, have been using it for several weeks.. but as far as Phonescoop is concerned I guess it's just a figment of my imagination.

Is it just me or is SAMSUNG having an EPIC fail with the their products? I've gone from the SAMSUNG Moment to the SAMSUNG EPIC/Galaxy S, and both phones always have some internal issues. From freezing and shutting down without user promting to this very weird popping sound like the phone (EPIC) is shorting out internally.

The phone has some really excellent features, but it gets detracted because of some of the other issues. I have friends who have this phone and they're on their 3rd and 4th iteration either refurbished or at the last straw new. My trust in the quality of phones from this manufacturer is rapidly waning.

Is anyone else having problems like this with SAMSUNG or perhaps another manufacturer.

Looking for a low cost phone and have been looking at Costco. Their third party in-store reseller pointed out the Samsung u 370, which I think relates to the FCC ID.

However, I can't find any reviews of a phone with this FCC-ID.

Can anyone help identify this phone?

I bought my dad (an older gentleman) a samsung rugby II. I disabled push to talk by removing the button and clipping it then reinstalling it.

Now my only other problem is he hits the ATT navigator button and it charges us. Is there a way to delete this key or relocate it? Maybe a hack? Its the key right above the send button.

What the D406 offers (no longer made and hard to find)

My wife's A697 Sunburst touch screen will not allow me to get to settings on her phone to reset default settings or calibrate the screen. When you go to unlock the phone you can no longer use the touch "N" slide icon on the front. It seems the screen is so far out of calibration that you literally have to touch about 3/8" lower than the icon is located on the screen to work,... putting the selection of the proper hits - menu + settings out of my reach. How can I reset it? OR Do I need to call AT&T and have them reset it for me?

I have had the Samsung Intrepid for about 2 weeks now and Sprint cannot tell me how to access my FTP client account. I do not need the bluetooth FTP I need to access an FTP client. Is there a way to do this or a an app I need or what. HELP!!!!

I currently have a BJ II and am looking to upgrade to the Samsung Focus. There are a few things I need answers to before I but it for sure. I tested it in store but could not find the answer to these questions:

How do you access the internal storage and the SD card from the phone? Is there "File Explorer" or something like in WM 6?

I know you must use the Zune program for audio and video transfers to and from the device. What can you use to transfer documents (Word, PDF, XLS etc) and pictures to a PC and visa versa? Can I just plug it into my PC like my WM 6 device and move items around from the icon in My Computer?

Is there a PDF reader and Windows Live Messenger included?

Just purchased the Samsung SGH-T749 Highlight for a backup.

I have a couple of questions and hopefully someone can answer them.

1. How can you lock the phone with password protect verses the side lock option that allows anyone to open and lock without password? The applications are on lock but not getting in the phone after powered up.

I have the PIN and Password function active on startup but it isn't required after I power up.

2. Is the interface provided the only view?
Is this customizable like my Samsung Galaxy?

3. What other applications are available for this phone?

4. Can this phone be rooted to receive applications?

Would appreciate constructive answers and solutions.

I just bought a Samsung Caliber from US Cellular because the pkg they offered for $20 a mo. included the "Your Navigator" GPS...now the GPS feature is not working, I called US Cellular and tech support told me there is an issue with the GPS app not working with the Caliber... Now what do I do 'cause the only reason I bought this phone was for the free GPS ...

does anyone knows the specs of the samsung i9000?
