Nokia 5800 (aka Tube) coming this month
So I heard at TheNokiaBlog that this is slated to appear at retailers on Feb. 26th. Since the FCC ok'd the phone for At&t's 3G network, does anyone know if At&t is gonna pick up the phone and subsidize it?

Definitely not on AT&T, it would be a direct competitor to the iphone (touchscreen multimedia phone) a most certain no-no for AT&T. You'll have to buy it unlocked if you want to use it on AT&T.
T-Mobile may pick it up but you will have no 3G.

If the 5800 were created to be the direct competitor to the iPhone I would agree that At&t would not pick it up, but the fact that At&t has the Palm and LG Incite both of which are touch screens, then I think At&t would welcome it. If Nokia 5800 were to compete with the iPhone wouldn't At&t actually want it? Besides Nokia filed their FCC request using a phone that matches At&t 3G network makes me think that t-Mobile is not getting it.

I didn't know Nokia filed a 5800 with AT&T 3G bands. AT&T may show interest in it. What do think it would go for? I'm thinking $150 to 200 with a 2 year contract. Nokia really doesn't need to hit a home run with some phone in this market soon, they are losing too much business to the likes of Samsung and LG.

I am would love to see it drop below $100 with a 2 year contract I even think $75 will an additional mail rebate would be nice.
