Motorola W755 every time I turn on it says "software update" for 15 seconds
Motorola W755 every time I turn on it says "software update" for 15 seconds
Took out battery
Checked firmware with verizon rep-said it was the latest.
Checked for update via phone info "check for update" selection. No new update available
Did a *228 a few times (1 and 2)-no luck.
Verizon said they can hard reset my phone but then they have to transfer over pics and other things and I will lose my custom ringtones. I do not feel like hacking into the phone and using MSU and so on.
Can wait for a new phone (in a few months) but wonder if anyone had this "software update" message appear when appear (in a white box/black letters) everytime you turn on phone. Box goes away after 15 seconds.
