Got the new v710. Is there a way to get the external display to stay on, rather than having to keep pushing the left button? Help please.

question: when I put my phone on the charger it automatically changes my ringer to "loud". This is quite annoying. Is there any way to change this seemingly default option? Will this be fixed in the upcoming firmware?

whos got mobile phone tools for download?.

ive sent three emails to my phone from my hotmail with an attached .mid ringtone that i created on my pc. each time i get it, there is no option for me to download that attachment so i dont know whats going on. is it hotmail? is that attachment not sending b/c it is through hotmail? i just dont know whats going on. any other suggestion? any help is really needed and would be greatly appreciated.

also is there anyway to delete the preloaded pics and sound clips? i went to menu while viewing the pics and clips and there is no option to delete them. any way you know of?

Will Sprint ever get the Motorola v710? What is the deal with Sprint and Motorola? A long time ago they used to get the latest Motorola phones. Then they stopped, only to start up again a few months ago with a very basic phone.
What's up with that? Anybody know???

on iChatAV (mac) you select "Go To Chat"

for AIMers i think you can hit the CHAT icon at the bottom of your buddy list and then you can use my buddyname "markemotion" as the buddy to invite and just put MOTO V710 as the chatroom name and just leave the invite text field blank.... unless someone knows another way on the PC side

Does n e one know how the quality of the speakerphone is on the 710? I have a read a few posts on hofo which have said it was decent, but i want to know how it compares to my nokia 3650 which i think has one of the worst speakerphones ever. Do u think its possible 2 actually use the speakerphone for the 710 during a car ride, or will i need to just buy a separate bluetooth speakerphone. any help would be great 😁

Hi, Im from NY, USA, and my contract for tmobile is ending soon so I want to renew it but im having difficulty selecting the right phone. I want the best phone possible which has a good mp3 player, loud speakers, speakerphone, a good video camera, a good color screen, and possible blue tooth also. Im sorry for asking for too much!
So can you all please post some phones you think I should get according to my selection description.. thanx... Post phones that are with the tmobile carrier, and also phones that are not with tmobile, cuz I can possibly unlock the phone to work with my tmobile service....

I just bought this phone, pretty happy with it.
Can I set the alarm only to go off mondays through thursdays?

Just got the phone today, so far I've only been able to block my caller ID on a one time basis. My old Moto and other phones give you the option to permentely hide your phone number. Is there a way to keep my # private w/ the V600?

I haven't see any advertisement on VZW side but radio shack is getting ready. I think it should be any day now before it comes out at least i hope.

I have a new V600 and no matter what case I use with the exception of the plastic holster it doesn't let the phone close fully and the phone acts as it is still open.
Any help will be appreciated.

Well, I got this letter from Rogers, saying that they'll upgrade my horrible little c333 to the c370g, for free, if I re-sign a 2 year term. I'm not a big fan of Rogers, but honestly, any phone would be better than the c333.

I decided to go for it, figuring, what the hell... it was going to cost $200 to cancel my account anyways, so I might as well try the new phone and re-sign.

I phoned their customer service line, last Thursday, and was quoted 7-10 days via purolator. To my surprise, my new phone arrived on Friday morning! 😲 The reception on the c370g is awesome! I can actually make a call from my basement now... something I can't even do with a regular cordless phone. So far, the battery life has been 3 days and counting...

I just came from a phone expo at my job were all differant types of phone manufactors come so us the new products. The much waited 710 is being shipped this weekend most likey to sell from us VZW in about a week to 2weeks will be in store to sell to customers(you know they cant give dates to us so dont ask)..I feel that VZW droped the ball in letting Radio Shack sell the phone frist it will be in there stores and selling on the 7.29.04..And i know they are doing pre-orders. BUT HEY IT IS HERE I CANT WAIT THE PHONE IS GREAT!!!! And its no bigger then the LG7000..its alot thinner though..I just cant wait its one of the best phones ive seen...

Hey folks!

This may not be the correct forum to put this in, but this is what i look at most and maybe some of you guys can help. I have been waiting for this phone for the last 3 months, and the sucky part about it all is that i been without a phone for this past two months and desperately want a phone now. I have been considering signing up with sprint.

Lately i have been hearing that sprint is getting a lot better and will only get better. So is sprint going to get better than verizon in the next year or two? Sprint or Verizon, what would you pick?
