This looks like a pretty solid device; it’s got good-enough screen specs, a better-than-average processor for its class, and a memory card slot. Subjectively, the design is appealing as well.
But I’m going to need more than a two-year commitment on security updates before I even consider using a Motorola phone again, regardless of the relatively low initial cost. If they want to be budget phone industry players, Motorola has got to start thinking like budget phone users; fact is, we’re cheap, so better long-term value is now the first thing I look for.
