T616 with BT head set feedback?
Anyone have any good/bad feedback with using BT headsets with the T616T610?
Thinking about screwing my current V600 plans and going the T616 route til the Cingular V600 version comes out.
Thoughts?
Thanks

i have the t616 and have just bought my 3rd bluetooth headset. Tried the Plantronics (m1000?), and it worked fine from my end, but i had a lot of complaints from the people on the other end: feedback, echoing, etc. Got the Motorola HS810, and it works great from my end, but still a lot of complaints from those I'm calling: they hear their own voice echoing back to them. Absolutely no support on this, by the way: the official response from Motorola was that they only recommend their headset for use with Motorola phones. Just today I bought the hbh65 SE headset, and anticipate no issues: SE should work fine with SE, right? Fingers are crossed.

Hi Kevin - I would hope the hbh65 works w/ the t616, I considered it - but the battery set up i wasn't too keen on - the description said rechargable batteries? I have heard that it is very nice though. I figured, SE has a track record w/ BTooth, and have made several headsets, but Jabra has a track record with making headsets exclusively, and a couple good BTooth headsets as well - I went for the new Jabra BT 250 - 8 hour talk time!, same ear gel design and mic postioning as the newest wired version that i just got for another phone - and it works amazing for sound. I bought for about $79 from an Ebay store - still waiting to get it though. I know it's not as fashionable as the 65 and 810, but I'll be using for office use mostly.

the hbh-65 was returned. Battery life (talk time) was somewhere between 1 and 2 hours. I have conference calls that regularly go beyond two hours, so this doesn't work for me. I will pick up an hbh-35.
Note: my first bt headset was the hbh-30, which I used with a t68. It worked well, but I broke it: cracked it along the length of the headset.
I feel like I've come full circle, now returning to the hbh-35.
