How do i get the front (external) screen to stay on even when i'm not on a call?

Hello all! I currently own a Motorola RAZR V3c and absolutely hate it. One feature that completely sucks is that the way the ringer rings can be changed from the outside very easily. For example, vib&ring to soft to loud to silent...etc. etc. Is this the same on the KRZR?

Ok, I just got this phone and I know there were alot of threads on ringers...I went through them and there were to many of them...in simple form, how do i get ringers? I know how to make them and send them to my phone, but it just lets me save them to my sounds! 🙂 Thanks guys

I have had my KRZR with Verizon since January. Like others on here, I am unable to get my phone to play individual ring tones that I got from Get It Now when I have the ring and vibrate featured both turned on. It will play the individual ring tones when I turn vibrate off. I wear carpenter jeans often, and I keep the phone in the pocket down by my knee, and I can't always hear the phone ring. I called Verizon to complain, and they told me that there was no update coming to fix the problem. Then I was told that this phone IS NOT SUPPOSED TO RING AND VIBE at the same time!!! Am I completely off the mark in thinking that this is a flaw with the phone? It will ring and vibe and play the default ringtone, but not the one I have assigned. If this...

Has Motorola or Verizon released any software upgrades for this phone since it was first introduced? I still like the phone, but it needs some minor software improvements, such as the ability to make the type font larger.

Here is the details. I 1st got the phone Feb 10th. Nearly all the time the phone is just in standby. I will make up to 10-15 minutes of calls in one day. The 1st time I charged the phone i only got a little over 3 days standby. The next few times a little bit more. But after that I was lucky to get less than 2 days of standby. I exchanged this one on March 3rd with bestbuy since it was within their return exchange policy.

The new one I got the 1st charge I got about 5 days standby. The next few I got a little more so I thought so far so good. Although its not the 14 days advertised that its supposed to get. I wasn't sure what to think of that as my last phone LG PM-325 got 7 days so this was almost as much. So at this point this is 4 cha...

Hi all - could anyone tell me how I can read txt files (stored on my microSD card) on my krzr phone. I am not sure where and how it needs to be stored so that my phone can recognize them.

Can anyone tell me if this is a good choice? Her e815 is acting up....white screen, not being heard when she makes calls, etc. She is three weeks away from her date to renew but Verizon has granted her to get a new phone early. She is considering the krazr and the razr. Anyone have any thoughts?

Where can I get a usb driver for my km1 with verizon and windows xp? I have the data cable, do I need to purchase the driver? Any help would be appreciated!

well about 2 weeks ago i decided that i would take a break from my ppc6700 and just chill with a regular phone. so i grabbed the krzr again...and i was PLEASANTLY surprised! 😁 i dont know if it was motorola or sprint but darn near all issues that i noted before are fixed! the ui is faster, itap (as crappy as it is) acts more like t9 than ever. finally no lag when typing in numbers. sprint tv was revamped on the motorolas and its frikin beautiful. basically if i had to re-rate im saying this is a good phone with some really nice features. are there better phones on the same level? YES! but its sexy, so i took the cut. and it turned out ok. i give a solid 4.0

Everytime I check my inbox of txt messages it keeps saying pic-video 90% full. So I erase my txt but it keeps coming up but I dont want to erase my pics-video. Will buying a 1G microSD card solve my problem? Thanks for any help.

I have tried transfering files form my laptop to my Sprint Krzr K1m, but I keep getting a "connection interrupted, tranfer failed" error.

Anyone know why it is doing this? Seems I have proper coneectivity between the phone and my laptop, but the files will not transfer.

I was sure that when the long awaited RAzr MAXX came out, I was buying it. I have gone to see it three times and cannot get past the rugged and masculine look of it.

I think I'm going to get the white krzr. Only thing I don't like about it is the tiny screen but I like the size of the overall phone (fits so nice in a pocket and with summer coming that will be a huge plus!). I tried get it now with it though and had a really hard time seeing the darn icons (when there were 8-10 on a page).

Any thoughts from a KRZR owner?

I downloaded 2 ring tones from the Verizon network but I am having problems assigning specific ring tones to different people.

If I go to a contact, assign a different ring tone than the main one (Sounds -> ringtone), it doesn't work. It just plays the main one.

Anyone know why this is happening? I look at my contact information and it says a different ringtone but still plays the main one...

I'm so dissapointed. I returned the phone today at Verizon and they said it was a software issue but when I got home, still had the same issue. Can someone please help me??

I locked my phone and can't remember the four digit to release the lock so I can use my phone....is there some master lock or menu to undo this??
