Motorola KRZR K1

It’s shuts off regardless if the animation was skipped or not. 1 second after getting the the menu, it shuts off. The battery is a sad one. There is also a weird buzzing coming from the phone, but I’m not sure if that has anything to do with it

Hi. I flashed my k1 cell without viewing the SW version and my cell gets stuck with 'Boot Loader' screen.. For the past 3 months, I have tried restoring it to normal with different dashboard from T-Mobile(the original OEM), etc but it is still 'Boot Loader, press OK to program'.
AM cell-less at the moment. Pls help.

when i make a call and the line is busy, idon't get a busy signal or anything. does this phone have a busy signal on it? mike bryan

From what I understand most phones that allow tethering do it through the bluetooth, which seemed a little strange because wifi is so much more common to find in a laptop than bluetooth.

Anyway, I was wondering if the KRZR allows you to tether using wifi. It'll make a big difference in the decision to buy one, thanks a lot.

I replaced my inner LCD screen today only to switch the phone back on to a screen that had rotated 180* and I now have to look at the screen upside down and in a mirror to see whats going on. Everything else works perfectly. Iv tried a master reset but it did no good and tried contacting Motorola just to be told that as my phone no longer has a warranty I would have to pay god only know how much to upgrade the software.

Anyone have any idea how to fix this?

I have a question about Motorola KRZR K1 usage. Is it possible to copy all contacts from Motorola Phonebook to PC at once? I can send one contact to my computer via Bluetooth, but as long as I have more than 400 contacts, it'll take a lot of time to send all ones.

The problem is that Motorola Phone Tools don't see my phonebook and don't synchronize it. I called service center - they proposed me to update phone software. But Motorola engineers don't guarantee that this operation won't delete my phonebook. That's why I want to copy contacts before software update.

My Krzr K1 decided to take a swim in the lake. Dropped to the bottom about 15 feet close to midnight. Amazingly after a half hour my bro ringed my phone and it lit up so i was able to dive to get it. Put it on the dash of my truck for a day and it dried out and unbelievably still worked with the important exception of the screen going completely white. I want to download my contacts out of it before getting a new phone but can't activate the usb setting with no screen. Was wondering if someone would be gracious enough to type out the exact keystrokes to perform this action so I can do it without a screen. I would be most appreciative.

I keep my phone on the ring+vib setting all the time. But when I plug my phone in to charge, it changes it to loud only, and keeps it on this setting even after I unplug the phone. I've tried setting the charging profile to have ring+vib, but the next time I charge, the same thing happens again.

This has been driving me nuts for a long time, any help would be appreciated.

I bought a new 4gb memory card. I THINK its in right, I am not certain, but the phone is acting sluggish and slow

You lay the memory chip in the slot and slide it under the metal bracket right?

I've owned a krzr k1 from at&t for about four or five months. I've been happy with it untill recently. Now, for some reason, it randomly reboots, and today the iTAP predictive text stopped working completely. The TAP works fine, though. I would really appreciate some help.

Probably a really stupid question, but...

Is there a way to lock the ringer so that it doesn't change style (or loudness) when I accidentally hit it in my pocket?

Seems I invariably kick it to SILENT and/or 0 loudness bars during the day.

when i set a ringer id to ring when a specific person calls. i want it to ring only when they call. yet it rings on text messages from that person also...is there a way to turn this off so i can have a normal ring for text messages and a song for a phone call?

ive had my krzr for a week now $250.00 (EBAY) i was wondering how you can put ringtones with certain phone numbers so that i will know who is calling, my old z500a was easy to do this with so i am hoping soembody can help me out

How big does the file or what file type do i need for a ringer id?

i bought this motorola KRZR k1 Silver online but can not seem to get the mms settings right for cingular. Also when i try to access the web it says that gprs network is not available then asks if i want to attempt direct data call? i say yes but then the gprs message appears again. i know this has to do with my mms problem as well. mms is so very important to me. if you could please healp

My k1 is broken in half, and it still works, but all my recent numbers were stored onto the phone as opposed to my sim card. Can someone PLEASE tell me key-by-key what to press in order to have all numbers moved from phone to sim. I'm sure this is possible, as it has been with all other phones. I don't know of anyone with a razor, so I need someone's help leading me blind. Your help is greatly appreciated. Thanks much.
