When?
It's available online now. If you're waiting for Cingular to get it (they'll probably be the first GSM carrier to have the KRZR K1) then it should be late 3rd quarter, early 4th quarter 2006.

late 3rd quarter would be this week.
early 4th quarter would be October.

seems I've seen this show before with the v3i which was due late 1st quarter or early second ... and wasn't released with Cingular until September.
So if you can wait until springtime (2007) it might take that long ... otherwise it might be prudent to choose something else.
Of course now that I post this it'll come out next week ... ha-ha
