It may be so ... but the maxx (v6) was announced in June 2006 and only got released in the US last month and still is not out for GSM networks in the US.
The v8 and v9 may be out somewhere in the world by the end of summer (September) but it wouldn't be suprising to find that branded phones aren't released in the US till as late as mid 2008.
Unless of course Carl Icahn's kick in the rear will help Motorola's ability to get product to market.
Waiting for Motorola phones is a little like that play "Waiting for Godot".
