Motorola RAZR maxx Ve

iv noticed the whole top part of my maxx like where the main screen is seems to be getting loser, when the phone is closed it will move right and left...is there any way to tighten this back up?

Anybody tried to make a decent full screen wallpaper with this phone? You need to rotate the phone, take the picture, save, edit, rotate, save, before it will show full screen. The pictures on the older Motorolas, and for GSM fill the display when you view full screen.

Every picture I take on this phone is cropped top and bottom when viewing on the display. Am I missing a setting?

ok i have the maxx ve, verizon usb data cable for the mexx ve, windows meadia player 11, and windows vista. the drivers that came with the data cable are downloaded and when i plug the phone up to my laptop it charges BUT when i try to sync it to WMP nothing happens it only says "Connect a device" 😢 any one know what i should do?

Does anyone else have mediocre sound quality from the mp3 player ? To me the same mp3s sounded much better on my e815 (w/same earbuds). Could the 1/8" plug to mini-usb adapter be downgrading the sound quality ? Is this a software issue - should I exchange for a new phone ?

i have to re-boot the phone, and finds the card. But evenrtually i can't acces the card unless i go back and re-start the phone.
I got a 1GB card sandisk.

sometime it works perfect.

I am getting a new phone this weekend and am leaning hard to the MOTORAZR maxx Ve. I have read most all on this forum as well as thoghts from other reviewers on other websites. Just curious to know a few things from those who already have...

1. Is vibrate mode strong?

2. Is earpiece really nice and loud?

3. Should I wait for a software patch for any known bugs?

4. Should I wait for the new Razrs coming out later this summer?

I was told by a verizon wireless agent that they were going to release an update that helps the camera perform better and fix some glitches that makes some MAXXes reboot. I was also told that it might increse memory capacity to 4GB and unlock some bluetooth profiles. I don't really know if what he said was true but that's the info i got. There is going to be an update!

On My MAXX the bluetooth icon turns on for some reason. I checked if bluetooth was on and it was off. This turns on after I stop using the bluetooth headphones for listening to music only and controling changing the music track. Is that normal??

I'm trying to get the mp3 and qcp files I've saved to the phone to be assigned as ringtones. I've gotten them onto the phone via pix mms, and saved the sound to the phone, but it doesn't give me the option of of saving them as ringtones, or applying them as ringtones...

Just got this phone. I tend to like to hold a phone right next to my face, and the hinge on this one is really irritating to have pressing against my face. I may get used to it - I don't know. Anyone else bothered by this? I'm probably just used to my lg 7000 - way different build to be sure. I might get the KRZR and hope there aren't too many bugs. I don't use the music features on any phone and am not too concerned about the camera.

Well I got a maxx today and love it so far so good BUTTTT....i cant get the front buttons to work the music player works fine just no touchy buttons 😢 what should i do?

After I check a voice mail message, the voicemail alert icon usually goes off but the missed call alert icon stays on for sometimes hours, usually until I reboot the phone. Never used to happen with my e815. Does anyone else have this problem ? Is this a bug ?

I have had the Maxx Ve for about a week. I like the phone except I picked it up off the table yesterday and the front glass is cracked. I can't understand how that could happen, I haven't dropped it or anything. Verizon claims it was sat on or something, so is physical damage and won't replace it. I would knwo if I sat on it.

Anybody else have this happen?

The max is made out of a aluminum/titanium material...nt plastic like the maxx.

The maxx is a good phone but feels cheap.

The v9m is super fast!!!!!

But has the same old Verizon UI.

Almost the same phones but the screens and looks are different.

I just got the Motorazr maxx Ve. I like the phone a lot but I have a problem.

Whenver I have the memory card in and reboot the phone it freezez at the verizon wireless store. I took it in to a service center and tried another phone and another memory...same thing. Is this a known issue? I suppose it will be fixed in some future software release? Does anyone know how often those come out? I really like the phone, but if I can't get it to work well, I don't know if I want to keep it.

I also experience some issues when playing music. I get the "Player not available" error on occasion. And sometimes it skips songs because it just doesn't like them. Then later it will play a song that it skipped.

Any ideas, suggestions or comments welco...

While I generally am very impressed by the camera on the Maxx, twice I have gotten an icon depicting a picture torn in half.

It seems to take the picture just fine, but after saving it, the icon appears.

Ideas?

I had pics and videos on my trans flash card from my e815. when i insert the card into my maxx i don't see the pics or the videos. Does anyone know how i can get these pics to show up on my maxx?

I was trying to figure out if you can access an other phone's files? Is this possible on this phone? I have a Sanyo M1 and it does that?

I used to own a Motorola 815. DUN was easy, you could just dial #777 from a pocket pc or laptop. This doesn't work with the Maxx. Does anyone know how to access it? Can it still be done. It came in handy if I wanted to quickly check the web for something and had no other internet access.
