Is it possible to download the LG CU-405 contacts to a PC? If yes how do you download the contacts.

I saw only one review that mentioned the phone dying overnight and wondered if anyone else has noticed the battery not lasting very long between charges?

I dropped this stupid phone and my screen doesn't work. I can only call the numbers that i remember exactly where they are on my phone list. I would like to know if anyone knows what buttons to push, in the exact order, to save all my contacts to my sim card. You'll have to walk me through it very clearly, as i am doing it blindly. I NEED to get all my numbers out of this phone so i can throw it away. it sucks... i can't even call my sister. Thanks.

Has anyone noticed they have trouble receiving either incoming calls, sms or mms when a J2ME application is running?

Is there any way the memory on this particular phone can be increased ???

I have downloaded a few Real Tones songs into the phone, taken no more than 3 or 4 pictures and the memory is full...To the point I cant take another pict shot unless I delete some of my downloads...

If the memory bank cant be increased is there a way to erase some of the phone features to help free some of that memory ??

I want to delete the ringtones and graphics that came on my CU400. I don't like them and would like to clear memory space for items I do like, lol. It doesnt seem like I can delete any of them though, is there a trick to it?

I have the LG CU400 with ATT service. Is there ANY way to get rid of certain menu items like Cellular Video, Entertainment, MEdia Net, ATT Mall, and PPT? These are menues I will never use and wish to rid my phone of these options. Thanks in advance.

I was wondering if there was a way to personalize the sound that plays when I recieve a text message. the ones on the phone are a little anoying, and i wondered if there was a way to set another one. i know how to get personal ringtones on my phone, and i was wondering if there was a similar way to set them as txt msg tones.

hey everyone i just got the phone. how can i get songs form my computer and put them onton my cell hone using bluetooth i think? thats what i heard. any coments?

This phone (LG CU400) does not seem to be able to sort names in the address book alphabetically. New names are just added at the bottom of the list irrespective of the first letter. Any way to sort these?

Does the USB cable for the LG CU400 charge the battery? I've had the MPX220 and the 3125 and both did charge, but I bought the CU400 for my dad and don't want him to buy a cable unless it will charge his phone from his laptop for him.

Does anyone know what this is? It says "no authorization for the requested operation". I'm trying to run gcalsync.jar or gcalsync.jad. I've even downloaded these to my phone and have "?" beside them (as well as an .htm and .ics file).

Ok, on the LG CU500 you could not use a downloaded ringtone (from cingular.com for instance) and set it as a group or individual ringer ID, you could only use the ringtones that were default on the phone. I was wondering if the was the case with the LG CU400??? I have contacted LG directly and they are unable to give me an answer...shocker. Can any of you that have the phone give me an answer. I want to buy the phone...but having custom ringtones in a must for me 🙂

I have been referring my customers to lge.com for software downloads for this phone (and other LG phones). This is what I was instructed to do from the LG rep from my store.

Apparently this is not right. I have returned all the data cables I've sold for this phone because no one can find software.

My customers (and I'm sure tonssss others) are wanting to transfer pictures from the phone to their computer. There is always that option to email them from the phone to their computer-but some just don't get that idea.

Suggestions??

My sister just bought one of these because her other phone didn't work so well after she dropped it. In any case, she has over 150 contacts that we had synced using that software to Outlook. I have been all over LG's website and this one and haven't found anything that would suggest that this can be done. So before I give up, I thought I would atleast ask.

Has this been confirmed? Is that the AT&T branded model? I haven't heard anything about this.

Can someone explain how that works on this phone?

I did not see that you could set it on vibrate from the OUTSIDE, which is handy when you find yourself in a place that must have quiet.

Also, with the headset wire plugged in, does it ASK you if you want to connect and you say YES without having to open up the phone?

Otherwise it's not true Driving Mode.

Just a heads up-- Pics 2 + 3 are the same thing. may want to fix that 🙂
