HTC Dash / S620 / S621 (Excalibur)

H500 BT headset doens't work on Dash

I was told that my H500 BT headset is compatible with the Dash. However when I turn on bluetooth on the Dash and have it search for a BT device, it doesn't find any. My BT headset was on when I did this BTW.

Anyone know what can be the problem?

You may have already tried this on yours but with my tekkeon BT headset, the phone will not read it the first time when it is turned on. What I have to do instead is set the BT HS to a 'recieve' mode that is specific to initial set up (for mine this means holding down the power switch for 10-15 seconds until both lights on the HS are flashing instead of one being solid for power on). Anytime I get a new phone I always forget that part the first time I try to sync them up. After the initial read and setup, then all I have to do is turn it on.
