ok ppl who own the dash....
look at the back of your phone the silve thing below the camra what is that if you notice you can open it up check it out any one know if they are going to have a flash or some sort of add on liek that ????
and how do you get your screen to stop lighting up randomly to save battery mine keeps lighting up when its just sitting on my desk and it drains the bttery more then it needs to...

The silver thing you are referring to is a mirror for taking self portraits. I don't see an update to add flash in the future.
Regarding your screen randomly lighting up I use the keylock on the phone and haven't had any random light up issues.

yea i lock the keys and every thing and i just lights up and i turned the wifi off and every thing and still dose it just set your phone on your dest and let it sit see if it lights up with in like 2 min and every thing
and i know the silver thing is a mirror but you can open it.. there is a spot for your nail so you can pull it up take a closer look.....

uhh ya i dont think ur supposed to be taking that mirror out it might not stick on in the future, and ya my dash lights up randomly as well...w/e it doesnt drain that much batter but it does get kind of annoying

well the mirror has a thing that hold it off like alil flap on most... ok well least its not only my dash that lights up...

ur both rite !!! ummm yea it lights up when its not locked .. and its not just annoying it sucks cuz u think ur getting a call and then ur like ****.. but use the lock and it will not light up !

it's just because of the sensor for volume. Go into the menu and turn the in call valume control off and this will solve your problem. Mine no longer lights up while it's sitting on my desk after I turned mine off

Mine will light up too. Locked or unlocked, with the volume activated or not. I thought it was when an airplane flew by. Thats usually when it happens but it also happens at other times as well.

By the way, when you pop out the silver thing, what you see is the port to connect an external antenna.
