direct push email ?!

ok so what the heck is this? every time i go into comm manager its blanked how can i use it and set an email for it?

uhh well i only have hotmail/gmail/school email on outlook, id like to set up either my hotmail or California State University -Fullerton email to my outlook but not sure how or how to get it on my direct push option =\

I believe Direct Push is only available on the windows exchange server. However, i may be wrong.
