Ringing through the headset

Every time someone sends a text message or leaves a voice mail while im on the phone the ringer plays through my bluetooth.... :-( HOW DO I CHANGE THAT?

even when i dont have a headset it plays throungh and i would like to find that out to cuz i hate when im on the phone and it goes off cuz it hurts my ears....
