Can anyone tell me how picture messages will bill if using a PDA and having unlimited messaging. I know that with Verizon you will still be charged kb usage on top of you messaging plan, unless you get a data package. I am wanting to know if I get a PDA with TMobile are they going to force me to pay the data package? Thank you in advance.

no they dont force you they cant haha and you can send a picmessage its just 25cents a message if you dont have a message budle and all

Yeah the only time that you'd have to do that is if you bought the Blackberry Pearl. However I'd recommend getting the data plan just to be able to use google maps and some other programs that require a data connection.

soo im confused what is data??? cuz i refuse topay 29.99 a month for nothing cuz i have t-zones and i can use full internet with out wifi and it still goes on edge is it a network glitch in my favor or what............... cuz i go on myspace and everything with out payying for data so what dose a data plan do???

Data is for the T-Mobile sponsored internet. And yes, that is a glitch in your favor. Even with the old motorola v300, you could access sites like myspace throught t-zones, just by going to google, and then searching for it. A data plan on the dash however would allow for google maps usage, ota downloads, and of course wi-fi. Its well worth it I think.

However, I would like to know how you accessed t-zones in the first place, since the dash can't access t-zones like other phones. When you do it just gets you to a very basic version of t-zones with all of three options, and no way to access a url. Thanks

yea that is right i jsut have the very basic of t-zones and all nothing on that..... but yea i dont have a data plan and i use full internet explorer no problems at all where could i test a site for ota downloads i jsut wanna see if it works completly........... i used to have the v360 thats how i used myspace is through google lol

go to google, and search for google maps, then click on the the link that comes up, then the link for high end phones, and that's how you start the ota download
