Motorola i880 / i885

The 2 megapix is great if the screen was worth a darn. The majority of the pics I take appear very dark until I tilt the screen perpendicular with the ground. Is there anyway to change the screen contrast or camera settings so that it will take better pics in low light, or at least improve the screen sharpness?????? help anyone??

OK I am new to the i880 so I am kinda lost on some of these fun new toys it has..like bluetooth and how to get music onto my mp3 player. (grrr having trouble with that)I figured you could just use ur little card and put it in the computer, download the music and viola it would be there..but nope it aaaint.
I keep reading something about a usb cord and webjal and other things that is confusing to me.
my niece has some really cool ringtones on her phone that she wants to ''send to me via bluetooth'' and well I am honestly lost on that one. I have deducted that I probably wont be able to use them as ringtones but i can webjal them somehow and I guess convert them.
one thing at a time... anyone wanna walk me through all i need to have ...

Rules for Assigning Ring Tones
Not all audio files can be assigned as ring tones:
Ӣ Ring tones purchased or received from Nextel
can be assigned as ring tones. Other audio files
may not be supported as ring tones.
Ӣ Non-DRM items and expired DRM items cannot
be assigned as ring tones.
Ӣ Files on the memory card inserted in your phone cannot be assigned as ring tones.

trying to copy photos from card to phone to use as wallpapers.

Anyone out there know what kind of battery this phone is gonna take? I have the i580 currently, and am wondering if the i880 will take the same battery. That wouldn't be so bad, because the batt. life on the i580 is about three days or so, depending on useage.

WHY does almost everyone keep asking if this phone has status light??? Is not that it bothers me. I like phones to have status light but in this case this phone doesn't have status light.

Will the New i880 Phone have a Status Light as well as will it be in Silver and that Brownish Color because ime hoping to god they will have both no matter what im getting teh phone i just really fell in love with silver!? Reply about the Status Light and Color PLease Thnx

It's probably so obvious that I'm missing it, but...
I can't seem to figure out how to look at photos that I've taken. I have the phone set to save photos to the memory card (I bought a 1 gig mircoSD card) but I can't figure out how to access it from the phone to look at what I've shot. I know the camera is working because when I remove the card and download to my PC, I can see the photo.
Also, is there anywhere that I can find a more comprehensive instruction manual?

I have an i830 and active Nextel account. If I buy an i880 on e-bay ..can I just switch my SIM card and work ? This would be OK with me even if I have to re-enter all my address book and stuff ..Just need to know if the phone will work..

hey i just got my i880 from a website called www.freephonefreeshipping.com and it cost me 249.99$ with a 130$ rebate. And i get my rebate fast, according to the form the turn around time is 4 or 5 weeks. All i have to do is keep the phone for 30 days. Did anyone else get this good of a deal??

I just got the i880 from Nextel. They don't support ringtones yet for the phone. I called customer service yesterday, they said it will take approx 2 months to update their website so, I can buy ringtones then. I used to upload them on my i850 thru the usb cable and my computer. But, everytime I hook up the usb cable to the i880, it acts as a removeable harddrive and only allows me to upload music/pics/videos to the memory chip in it. And webjel and myjal doesn't work with this model. Does anyone have any idea how I can download ringtones to the i880?

My roommate got this phone through a trial at our school. This phone is amazing!

This may be my personal opinion but it seems that while having alot of attractive features boost phones are just not attractive. Their brother and sister versions on the nextel and sprint side are even more attractive yet boost sticks with the design of a brick. Can someone educate me on the reason why boost phones have to be so damn ugly. Don't get me wrong I love my boost phone and i'm thinking of stepping up to the i885 but its soooo damn ugly.

exactly. how bad ass would it be if they could gut out the iden technology and put CDMA tech. in it and make it work for sprint! 😁 we can all dream cant we?
