can anyone tell me the max size micro sd card supported by this phone?

There is a story about how i got the i855. I actually found this phone on my way home from my girl friends house (walking). So i picked it up and took it home and it was activated and everything. After a couple of days (3) who ever owned the phone deactivated it. So after that i decided to use it and pay $50.00 a month to keep it on, after about a week the thing froze after i open up a txt message and went back to the main screen of the phone. So me and my friend searched how to fix this problem, and we found a page saying something about a USB cord. So i orderd on from Ebay and it finally came after a few weeks. I have a couple questions. I have a motorola i880 and need to know just exactly how you would go about adding mp3 ringtones to this phone and where is it that you put them. I sownloaded some off the internet and want to add them but cannot figure out how to do this. If anyone would be so kind as to help me out and let me know how I can add my own ringotnes I surely would appreciate this lots.

Does anyone know what I have to do to download pictures to my computer. I have a USB connector, I have windows live photo gallery, & I have BitPim on my computer but when I hook up my phone, it can't be foune by my coputer.

The little, thin, black piece of plastic that covers over the charger access on the bottom of my i880 will not stay closed. It is always flopping around, and it is driving me insane not to mention probably allowing dust, debris, what-not in. Anyone else have this problem? Can it be replaced easily? Why they changed the design on this from other Motorolas I have had with the same charger is beyond me.

Does anyone know when they plan on discontinuing this phone?

That color is friggin hideous. I hope they plan on making a different one.

Honestly ive been waiting for someone to give me some kind of answer on if the phone is gunna only be in that stupid PLUM color or is it GUNNA BE IN SILVER OR BLACK ALSO!! and will it have a status light like the i930???

I have read everything, but I still cannot upload anything to my phone.

I have downloaded webjal, and added all the ringtones I wanted. When I try to download them to the phone I get an error code saying there was an error between the phone and the computer. The USB seems to be working fine, so what else can it be?

Also, I cannot upload music to the music player. It appears to be working when I send it to the phone, but when it is complete the music is not there.

Sometimes the phone will read, "Insert memory card now." Well, it is already in the phone!!

Finally, what is this larger memory card for? It does not fit in...

😕 Does anyone else have problems getting music to load into the music player??? I can only access the music thru my memory card or media center...HELP!!

I had a i880, had nothing but problems with it. I went thru 6 phones in 6 months. The service center replaced it everytime. My screen went out the first time, the next phone the bluetooth wouldn't work, then the screen would be upside down everytime I opened it. Everytime the service center would get me a new refurbished phone, they would have to order it and it would take a few days. So, I would be with out a phone. The service center kept telling me it was a known issue with the i880's. I complained and went thru several people at sprint and they gave me a credit to cover the cost of the ic902. So far, I haven't had any problems with this one. Anyone else having issues with the i880s?

For some reason I can't apply a picture to a contact so I can't work the photo caller ID. I also can't do the personalized ringtone thing. For some reason when I select the menu when I'm viewing a picture it does not have the option to 'Set as Contact' and I can't set the ringtones either.

My brand new USB cable will NOT let me connect to my PC. I had the i860 for 2 YEARS and NEVER once did I have a problem. THIS PHONE SUUUUUXXXX. Don'waste your money. It's brand new and FULL of BUGS. I am SO PISSED. I was looking so forward to getting it.

Is it possible to transfer file via bluetooth or has that been option been locked out. Also I had problems pairing with a headset (headset not mine just wanted to see how it was done)and my phone wasn't able to pair. What is the proper steps I should take? Thank you.

how is the email/internet capability on this phone?

I have had this phone for only a couple of months and now when I open my phone the is no backlight to see whats on the screen. If you hold at an angle that light can shine on it you can still see everything. I went into settings and display and everything is turned on. The outer backlight still works when the phone is closed. 😕

How much space is there for my music, about how many songs can I store?

I am seeing a problem when trying to attach a voice tag to the contacts. I make the voice tag, save it, but then the phone dumps it. I manage a Nextel store, and opened 5 new phones, all do the same thing.

Has anyone experienced this? I opened a Service Request with Moto. They have not heard of the issue. I've tried it with the customer's SIM card as well as mine.

I dont understand how Nextel can come out with a brand new "Multi-media" function phone with no music or "MP3" ringtones?? 👿 Theres gotta be a way to upload musical ringtones, i mean the i850 had them..??..
