I have no financial ties to VZW but one has to remember that they are in business to make money. It is all about supply and demand.

ALL companies are out to make money. That is the problem with having contracts..you are screwed unless your contract is up.

well with no contracts you guys would have to pay the full retail price. then you guys could bitch more about that price. here is an idea use the ne2 discount, or check ebay. other options with any rate plan 59.99 or higher you can upgrade every 12 month for the advertised price. we all know the phone changed rapidly and we all know that all the companies charge more than the phone really cost they have been doing it for years. so i think you should get over it and quit b*@$hing.

Phone prices are determined by the manufacturers of the phones more then anything. Plus Verizon's prices are competitive with any other big name company. It is ignorant to be mad at Verizon, if anything we should be mad at ourselves for buying these phones.
