can the t629 read a 2gb card?
...
that's a really good question can the t629 read a 2GB memory card?? i want to know before i buy them!!
...
as long as you buy a microSD card you will be fine because this is external memory the phone will be reading! so yes you can get a 2GB!
...
that's not true...
although a phone supports certain memory card types.. in this case transflash(microsd), it doesn't mean it can read the highest available storage capacity in this case 2bg. in the manual it should say, but sometimes you can disregard that. it won't read all 2gb transflash cards, just certain brands. sometimes it will read it, but say only 1gb is available. you just have to find the right brand. because it might be able to read say a sandisk.. but it won't read say a "ghetto" brand

this is very true shorty's a fool. I no that the t809 can support 2 gigs but will only read 1gig. also if u get anything bigger then 512 mb the speed of your can severly drop
...
actually this was supposed to be an "upgraded" feature on this phone... Samsung was first giving the information of the phone reading the sd cards with more memory. Now samsung has said the soft wear is similar the T809 where it will only read the 1 gig on a 2gig card. So no I am not a fool. This that was given through samsung.
