So any way to get ringtones on the phone in good quality still? Now any time you send a picture message to yourself with the mp3 ringtone attached, it comes in the inbox as a qcp file. I am sure I am not the only one frustrated by this gayness. You can still save it as a ringtone, however it sounds like garbage. Anyway around it? Or a new way to make ringtones?

I'm experiencing the same thing. The weird thing is, one of the songs I sent to myself sent as a .MP3 and sounded great, but the other ones ended up QCP. Anyone know why it would work one time and not the others? Thanks.

No, this site still sends a picture message with the only option to save the ringtone as QCP format. I think this is gonna be a challenge for somebody to figure out a work around. I want my MP3 ringtone making ability back!!!

You have to take an mp3 song and convert it to wav and then chop the song down to around 30 seconds, no need to have it longer, then convert it back to mp3. rename the file with the ending of .midi and then send it to yourself via your phone number@vzwpix.com or the easier way I think drop it in your my sounds folder on the memory card and send it to yourself and save it as a ringtone.

Hey I just got this phone not three weeks ago, and I've been using BitPim to transfer edited mp3s over and it works fine. I bought the Music Essentials kit and just use the USB cable. Try using that.
