BlackBerry Pearl 8100
THE PEARL. IT SUCKS. LEAVE IT IN THE OYSTER.
This is the worst phone with the most horrible software ever. I had to for a few days, and walked, no RAN back to the cingular store to get my blackjack back... Why ANYONE likes it is beyond me...

just because you dont like it, doesnt mean it sucks. i love the phone, it does everything i need it to do, and then some.

maybe its because i dont like "their" version of the qwerty keyboard....

I agree I just returned a brand new BB 8800 because I so like the weight, feel, functionality and size of the Pearl. I couldn't find a thing that the 8800 had that surpassed the Pearl...I had to give up weight, size, etc., so I returned.
Actually the keys on the 8800 are just too small and the Smart Type on the Pearl gets "smarter and smarter" the more you use it and actually is faster I think.

I thought the suretype keyboard would be hard for me too. Coming from Treo's and the EnV I was worried. It finds words very well and if you treat the keyboard like a qwerty, it's really not hard.
You obviously didn't spend a lot of time with this phone or you are not interested in the e-mail funtionality, I am finding this phone to be very nice for me so far.
