is there anyway to tweek the Blackberry using the t-zones $5.99 plan and there was with the SDA..

Does anyone know ware to change the Gateway IP option on the New blackberry pearl?
I would like to use T-Mobile web on the Pearl but can't find the place to change the setting that i found on: http://www.gruups.com/tzones/
I found the TCP settings in my advanced options but no Gateway IP option.
If anyone has done it please let the rest of us that are over paying $20 a month know what to do!

Yea i understand what the link was saying. But how is it that you add the 5.99 plan for tmobile web. When you call Tmobile they say that plan isnt available for the BB pearl device and they wont even put it on my account? So how exactly does this work?

If you go onto your account through t-mobile and change your phone to something else, like a razr. then you can add it. I don't think it matters what the phone on your account says, it doesn't effect your service.

If you change your phone will that affect the software updates that T-Mobile sends to your phone?

If you want a blackberry, pay the frigging $20.00 a month for the blackberry plan and stop being such frigging cheapskates!!!! If you can't afford that, get something more on your level like the Nokia 6030 and get your stupid T-Zones! It's great for people who are technologically challenged....Jeez! You are still doing better than Cingular. They charge $44.99 for their blackberry plans. So suck it up and deal or drop out of the blackberry ranks!! Blackberry will not work with T-Zones.
