I'm going to just get a 2gig card, maybe a couple. What brand/model do you use that you aren't having problems with?
TIA
I have been using the Sandisk with great success. I have two of them that I swap back and forth in my phone and I am contemplating getting a third. For goodness sakes, don't spend $60 retail when you can get them on eBay. I just got my second one for $18.50 and it came with a Topram card reader as well; plus I got it in two days.

I put it in the card reader and pluged that into my computer so i could put alot of songs on at once. the computer isn't recognizing it, and says i need to format? if i format it, willl the phone still read it? I'm new to this whole SD memory thing.
Thanks for the help.

Or you can hit the Options soft key / My Stuff/ right arrow to go from "on phone" to "on card" then scroll down to music and press the options soft key and scroll down the menu to Properties. That will show on a black screen how much memory used by that folder. Go back and scroll down to Downoladed Media if you downloaded songs from napster and check the properties of that folder as well.
But I don't ever use either method. I just check the drive properties of the card in my card reader while it is plugged into my PC.

I've tried the suggestion that you pull the card out and put it back in, still no go.
i take the card out and put it back in the adaptor and use the card reader, well the file and director names are just a bunch of garbage and the computer won't read them. i have to format and try again.
What am i doing wrong? I have alost tried to push the MP3 across using a blue tooth connection and it says "invalid permissions" any thought on that?
Thanks for your help.

1. Computer operating system? Win98? 2K? XP? Vista? Mac?
2. What is the format of the music files? MP3? WMA? MP4? eAAC+?? Page 107 of the manual lists all the supported types. Betcha have MP3s but be sure what you have IS supported.
3. Were any of the song files downloaded from iTunes or Napster To Go or another song service, or are they your own CD rips? (This relates to the permissions message.)
4. How did you create yo...

I think my problem was my work computer. Its win2000, and it’s been locked down by our IT group and I’m sure there was some config issue that they have messed with. I used my computer at home (XP), Win MediaPlayer 10 with the sync option, with the card reader on my printer, and it worked fine. I’m using MP3, nothing downloaded from the web.
I was doing the drag and ...

Its a URL to get tutorials and walk-throughs for the phone from ATT. Thats where I found that I had to have MediaPlayer 10 and XP to dounload from Napster. I have Win2K and MediaPlayer 9. (Had to go to my wife's 'puter to do it.) Anyway theres some pretty good info there. I see that you can't copy/paste like I thought when I wrote it, so just click on the link and it'll take you right to the proper page.
