I received my refurb sync yesterday, and I'm curious about the front lcd. I don't know if this phone doesn't have a feature or if it is broken. There doesn't seem to be a way to access the front clock without opening the phone. It appears with the caller id but disappears quickly after ending the call. With my old phone, you just had to push a button on the side and the clock would illuminate. Not on my new sync-I've tried them all. Any thoughts?

I thought the same thing when I first got mine. All you have to do is hold down the button on the right side of the phone for 2 seconds and then it comes on. you can scroll through the options using the right buttons
