I have that cable, ordered from DayDeal. It has NOT worked with my SYNC. Don't know why, I wrote DayDeal but so far no reply. The standard headset cable that comes with the phone works fine so I think the problem is the DayDeal cable.

Yah the deal a day one sucks....I got another one off of EBAY...search "SAMSUNG T629 D807 T519 3.5mm STEREO HEADPHONE ADAPTER"...this one actually works and sounds great with my Sony headphones.
