So far I really like this phone but....those annoying service #'s
So far I really like this phone but ...does anyone know if the service numbers (directory assistance, pay your bill, check your minutes, etc.) in the address book can be deleted? Also if there's a way to turn off the expanded info when you scroll down the address book listing in the menu. I just want to see the list as is without the extra info.

I can't delete them on my phone...
I wonder if wiping the phones memory will do it? I'm just too lazy to program all the contacts/music again if it doesn't work.

I know, delete is not an option on those numbers.
it's option 6 on a regular contact. But that option shows service number instead of delete
on those numbers. Another AT&T annoyance.

The only way you can get rid of those numbers is to copy your address book to the SIM card and then only view your address book from the card. You do lose the ability to assign all of the extra features to each contact like pictures and personalized ringtones, but as you requested, that extra info will not be visible until you view a contact.
I assigned pictures to several of my contacts before transferring to the SIM and when they call me, their pic comes up on my screen.
