bluetooth with car
i have a 700 series BMW and just purchased the sync, i can sync the phone to the car with no problem. However i have replaced the samsung sync in place of the Razr. The Razr when hooked up to the car would show information on the screen such as contacts call list.... Nothing shows on the screen with the Sync Does anyone have any clue why!!!l I need major help with this issue.

I have the exact same experience with my A707 and a Mercedes Bluetooth system. After speaking with tech support at Samsung I was advised that none of their phones have the capability to transmit address book information via Bluetooth.
When I visited the Mercedes web site it displayed the phones, grouped by wireless carrier, that have the capability to achieve this task.

I have a BMW 750LI and am experiencing the same problem. The reason it doesn't show the address book in the vehicle, is that the phone does not have OBEX. (Object Exchange). I have emailed Samsung and if enogh of us do, they will provide a download. Treo went through this also. OBEX will download the address book to the car, the signal strength and battery strength. PLEASE email or contact Samsung. The more they hear from us the quicker they will react.
