WHATS YOUR BATTERY LIFE UP TO?
A good suggestion for this phone to improve battery life is that in the settings it come with the setting to always I guess you could say ping the internet just turn it to when needed and it will help the battery life 10 fold

what i meant is 1 1/2 talk time...im mad i expected more...at least 4 hours or so, about to send it back and get a blackjack only 75 bucks right now...

Seriously, if you turn off the 3G, the battery life improves greatly. I spent about an hour on my phone yesterday talking and didnt loose one bar. Last night I spent about 45 mins using the browser and that is what started sucking up the life (and im not even in a 3g area). The battery was fully charged on Monday night, today is wednes afternoon, and with the browsing and hour of talking, I have 3 bars.

MENU, SETTINGS, CONFIG. , CONNECTION , Then go down to Packet DATA. Then change packet data conn. from WHEN AVALIABLE, to WHEN NEEDED.

Man, who peed in you guys Wheaties?? I believe that he is getting bad talk time because I am getting the same bad talk time on my 6126. I decided to order the N75, hoping that it is better, but I am worried. People, you need to stop being so rude and get a life. Just because you are not having these problems with your phone doesn't mean someone else is lying about having these problems. Sheesh!!!! Can't we all just get along. If you people have a problem with someone posting things on here, you don't need to even read their posts. How hard is it to scroll down to a different post. It doesn't take that much time or effort!!

hi amy i agree with you. he started the bashing, im really only getting about 1 1/2 hrs of talk time, im sending it back just waiting for the return labels, i'm probably going to wait a while and buy it again , maybe by then the problems will be fixed ....hopefully

My N75 is on backorder right now, so hopefully this new batch has some bugs fixed.I'm keeping my fingers crossed

the funny thing is the blackjack COMES with 2 batteries, so he wont have to whine about that, it'll even be funnier when he realized that he wont be able to do 1/2 as much with the windows OS than with his symbian 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣

I'm getting 30hrs more or less with moderate phone use, and several hours of irc'ing with mirggi and using a few urls. But I don't have 3g down by me, so it could be keeping the battery up.

I was googling and somewhere I found a battery for the n75 which was more robust, not sure if its true. In anycase, its a fairly new phone release, I'm sure something will come out by mid summer.
I know simmilar complaints where made with the Blackjack, Samsung/Cingular included two batteries and then, included a higher cap. battery which seemed to solve problems. I hope a similar product is available for the N75.

The Cingular Corporate store has about 10 N75 in stock. I also received a better deal then what the advertise in stores and the website. Remember, you gotta wheel and deal. Let them know that you could easily purchase it from someone else that has it cheaper (local non-corporate store, best buy, wirefly, etc.)

At first I had issues with battery life myself, plus I had the rapid drain issue where all the sudden the battery would get hot and drain with in minutes. Well after formatting the phone (installing a bad theme....whoops) and setting the connection to "when needed" Im getting a day with heavy use and two days with moderate. Thats pretty good in my book for all the phone does and what I put it through.

I agree. Change the Packet Data to 'when needed' has significantly helped. Why was 'always' the default to begin with I wonder. Not finding that setting will lead to some returned phones.

Because of the battery I can barely talk a lot.. My Motorola Slvr L7 is way better than this phone I mean the battery life.. Now I had this phone for 3 days now and I'm thinking keeping this phone and just live with it and if I have some problems I'll just used my Motorola again.
This phone is making me not wanting to talk in the phone.
Hopefully there's a extended battery available for this phone....
