AT&T Free Software Update???
I got tired of waiting for the "pushed" (?) updated so i went to the > settings > Dev. mgr

Check for updates, and just got an update!
it's not the nokia update and it's only
version 10.1.282
I've not checked what this new version will do, but it's out there....

I'm glad this was posted. I just checked for updates and see that the 10.1.282 is available. It is updating as I write this....

i've gotten 4 messages from AT&T in the last two days saying "AT&T is providing a free software update for your phone. When prompted to install the update, please select YES. Thank you." I was never shown anything that let me select yes. I went and checked my version number and I have V10.1.282 on my phone and it hasn't been updated yet. I even tried to update and it asked me how to connect, gave me two options, cingular and cingularlab for a server profile. there was a log in required to get into cingular so i said the hell with it. But 10.1.282 is not the new update.
