8525 vs. Wing?
They both look good to me. I'm considering getting one of these on the side as a GSM device, but which is the better of the two?
...
It's like comparing a Porsche (8525) to a Miata (Wing), both are nice but I know which I would rather have.
...
I'd choose the Wing if it had wi-fi and infrared; yet it probably has a better chance of being insured than the 8525 does, as Cingular/at&t doesn't insure their smartphones.
...
My homeowners has riders for such things, and less then 5 bux per month. Besides ever deal with these insurers, they are worse then used carsalesmen, Cingular, Sprint, T-Mobile and VZ all farm them out to outside companies and do little to help you with a claim.
Also think about it. $60 bux per year, on a chance you lose or have your $250 off contract phone replaced is pretty hefty to me and then there's a $50 deductable. (I didn't include the price of an 8525 or Wing because they aren't insurable).

Yes I have. I have Verizon & Amp'd. I had a Treo 650 replaced by Asurion; it was horrible!!
...
Um, the Wing DOES have WiFi......
...
Okay, that was a mistake; but I know I'm correct about the Infrared.
...
I was going to get the Wing but my local dealer told me to look for a MDA, he says the wing is a big let down for him. Not an upgrade to the MDA.
...
That's what my firnds that have an MDA tell me.
