so i have had this phone for a while but i want to know if you can make alert tones for txt messaging and stuff i dont think that you can but if so and you could tell me that would be amazing!

Do they both try to slide out at once? I read under reviews that "The duel keyboards try to slide out when your using the opposite keyboard". Also I heard that reception was bad....maybe its the phone...maybe it just depends where you are on their map, I'm in a green zone (send stuff+more) so I think I'll be ok

this makes me happpy, do i have to convert files for a ocean screen ratio? i want to learn more about what i can take on the road with me, watching video at work sounds so great!

To any Helio users here in southern california, how is the service working for you guys. Do you get good connection as far as using the Helio as a phone and the web.

Torn between leaving verizon, or staying. Just wondering how the service is with Helio, the Ocean in particular, as well as 3G speed. Any replies would be greatly appreciated.

Has anyone downloaded it for their ocean yet? Does it work? Is it worth it? and does it affect the phone in anyway?

I'd like to offer a request to people planning to offer their review of a cell phone. Please DO NOT give a review solely based on a defective device! All cell carriers can and will have challenges with shipping defective devices. To review such a device before receiving an exchange that works as intended helps no one, and unjustly brings down the overall score rating of the device. Your entire experience and shared info (whether positive or negative) will help people more once you've got a working unit in your hands. Also, if you do happen to have a negative experience...it helps to describe whether the carrier responded appropriately to your situation or not. But, IMO the rating of a phone should only be in regards to a working device...not...

Does anyone know when helio retailers will carry the ocean?

what cell phone provider offers this phone?

My biggest complaint about this phone is the lack of rings. It comes with 15 rings, none of which sound like a normal phone ring. Plus, none of the downloadable rings are regular phone rings either. It's really annoying. I know they use mmf format ringtones, but anyone know how I can get the Ocean to recognize mmf files I put on the phone?

Has anyone had to pay a rediculous deposit with Helio, knowing their credit wasn't bad???

I've heard from one Ocean owner so far that he could not install Opera Mini on it, no matter how hard he tried. Can any of you other Ocean owners confirm this? That's a BIG turn off for me. That and the fact that the phone is dual-band.. for the incredible set of features the Ocean boasts, it should really have been at least a tri-band phone ☹️

I'm getting absolutely no emails back from helios support, is anyone else experiencing this?

When you send them an email with a question you get an automic email saying it has been delievered....but I have not got a response back and I have tryed emailing them again but I don't get an automic email. I used different emails, and same thing happens, only get one auto email and no response...

1. Will this phone work in Europe? A related sub-question would be: does it use a SIM card or is it hard-locked into the Sprint network via Helio? If it does use a SIM card, I'd expect to be able to pop in my Swiss SIM card when I go back home and have it work there.
   
2. According to Phonescoop, this phone does not support Java. Now this is important.. if it does not support Java, will I be able to install and use Opera Mini on it?

ordered it on friday, just got an email sayin im all signed up and activated so i go to regester my helio account on line and now i have a temperary password texted to my phone thats in transit....i cant wait till monday!!!!!

is there anway one could pick up a usb cable and use the phone as a usb modem. If all plans have unlimited data, it shouldnt be a problem right?

does helio allow dial up networking??
